API Integration

Sonder now offers an API integration to help streamline how member data is managed on the Portal. If you’re already using our portal and have the capability to set up automated connections to your respective HR platform, you can now choose from one of the following three options:

✅ Supported Integration Methods

  1. SCIM Client – Okta

  2. SCIM Client – Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure AD)

  3. Open API – A flexible solution for custom integration with your internal systems.

This integration allows you to automatically manage member access, keeping your data up to date with minimal manual intervention.

❓Frequently Asked Questions

What integration methods are not supported?
Sonder currently supports SCIM integrations with Okta and Microsoft Entra only.
We do not support SCIM client adapters outside of those two platforms.
Additionally, SCIM server integrations, where Sonder would act as the SCIM client, are not supported.


Does this integration affect Single Sign-On (SSO)?
No. This integration does not interfere with SSO. SSO continues to be the login method for members.
The API integration specifically manages member subscriptions and access, and is available to both SSO and non-SSO customers.


Can member data still be manually edited?
Whilst manual editing remains available, we recommend avoiding manual changes if an API connection is active, as this can lead to data duplication or conflicts. Automated sync ensures cleaner and more reliable data.
