Activation Lookback

Activation Lookback

The 'Activation Lookback' Dashboard is a powerful tool designed to provide a comprehensive historical view of member engagement with the Sonder service. By visualising activation data over the last 12 months, you can gain valuable insights that can directly inform strategic decisions, improve member well-being, and ultimately drive better organisation outcomes.

Why is Historical Activation Data Important?

Activation data serves as a proxy for member engagement with the support resources available to them. A high activation rate indicates that members are aware of and utilising the Sonder service, which is a strong indicator of a proactive approach to their well-being. Conversely, a low or declining activation rate can signal a lack of awareness, seasonal fluctuations or other organisational or environmental changes that may need to be investigated further. Some ways you can use this data to your advantage include:

Identifying upward trends: An increase in activation may be linked to a recent awareness campaign or a specific company-wide initiative. This data can validate the effectiveness of your efforts.

Investigating downward trends: A decline in activation may represent an opportunity to schedule a refresher session on the benefits of using the Sonder service or be a prompt to conduct further internal research on what may be causing this trend (e.g. during a busy period, members may be too overwhelmed to engage with the service, even if they need it).

Benchmark performance: The dashboard provides a 12-month rolling view, which allows you to benchmark current activation rates against historical performance. This helps you set realistic goals and measure the impact of new initiatives.

Proactively Address Absenteeism: Members who are dealing with personal or professional challenges may be more likely to use the Sonder service. By monitoring activation trends, particularly after a stressful period or a major organisational or environmental change, you can anticipate potential spikes in absenteeism and take proactive steps to mitigate them.
