Whistleblower Platform
A completely confidential and secure platform for members to safely speak up about serious issues or misconduct in the workplace.
🔍 What types of issues can be reported?
The hotline is for reporting serious issues such as:
-
Fraud or financial misconduct
-
Bullying, harassment, or discrimination (especially if systemic)
-
Unsafe workplace practices
-
Breaches of company policy or the law
-
Corruption or conflicts of interest
💬 Note: If your concern is a personal workplace grievance (e.g. a dispute with your manager or dissatisfaction with performance reviews), this may not be eligible under whistleblower protections. We recommend contacting your HR team directly for those matters.
All submissions can be completed via our online portal, found here.
🧭 How does Sonder Whistleblower work?
1. Choose Anonymous or Identified Reporting
-
You can submit a report completely anonymously, without entering your name or contact information.
-
Or, you can provide your name and contact details if you are comfortable doing so — this can help with follow-up, but it’s entirely optional.
2. Secure Submission
-
All reports are encrypted and stored securely.
-
Your information is only shared with authorised individuals at your organisation (typically within HR, legal, or investigations) as per your organisations internal whistleblower policy.
3. Report Triage & Forwarding
-
Sonder does not investigate internally. Instead, we forward reports to the designated contacts at your organisation.
-
We only disclose what’s necessary and always protect your identity if anonymity is requested.
⚖️ Our Legal Obligations
We are committed to protecting the identity of whistleblowers and maintaining confidentiality, only disclosing information to authorised recipients at the organisation unless required by law — such as in cases involving imminent threats to life or safety, mandatory reporting (e.g. child protection), or lawful court orders. While we are not automatically obligated to report criminal conduct to authorities, we may do so in exceptional circumstances or with the whistleblower’s consent. Our role is to securely receive and forward reports while supporting the legal and ethical protections afforded to whistleblowers under applicable law.
If you have questions about whether your organisation uses this service, or how your data is protected, please contact us at customer.support@sonder.io or refer to Sonder’s Privacy Policy.
